These IRWIN® HANSON™ Fractional Taps are great for routine maintenance, repair work and for re-threading where high accuracy and tolerance thread is not critical. These plug taps have straight flutes that are ground to provide rapid chip removal for efficient threading. Each plug tap produces a class 2B thread and is designed for hand-threading work in a variety of materials.
